How TAME began

A focused solution that evolved with the firms it serves.

TAME began with a practical problem observed inside law firms and grew as clients asked for more hands-on help.

  1. Early 1990s

    A law-firm problem needed a purpose-built answer.

    While serving legal clients, Robert D. Gelman, CPA, and his team saw how difficult it was for firms to maintain attorney trust and escrow accounts under state record-keeping rules.

  2. Mid-1990s

    Software grew into specialized consulting.

    Law firms began asking for help with their records. TAME Software became TAME Software & Consulting, adding reviews, record restoration, and audit preparation.

  3. Today

    Decades of specialization, now on the web.

    The first TAME generation ran in DOS, the second on Windows, and today’s cloud-based system carries that focused experience forward.
